Keynotes & Corporate Talks

The talk that wakes the room up, booked for conferences, offsites, and leadership summits.

The roster

sound familiar?

Who books this.

  • Conference and event programmers

You need a mainstage AI talk that holds a mixed audience without dumbing it down. Real builds on screen, not a hype reel.

  • Executives planning an offsite

You want leadership aligned on what AI actually means for the business before budget season. One hour buys a shared vocabulary and straight answers.

  • Heads of L&D and internal comms

You’re launching an AI initiative and the kickoff needs energy. A talk that makes people want the training instead of fearing it.

The set list

tuned to the room

The set list, tuned to your room.

  1. The State of AI, Minus the Hype

A grounded tour of what AI does well right now, what it does badly, and what it costs. Leadership leaves with a shared vocabulary and a working filter for vendor claims.

  2. Zero People Replaced

The human-first case for AI: why augmenting your best people beats replacing them, and how to build that into strategy. Equal parts playbook and backbone.

  3. Built by the People Who Use It

Recorded walkthroughs of real systems built by non-engineers: what they made, what it took, and what changed. Proof beats promises, and nothing on our stage is left to luck.

  4. Where the Hours Went

How to spot the automation opportunities hiding inside your own workflows, and which ones to leave alone. Built so you start listing yours before it ends.

  5. How to Buy AI Without Getting Burned

A buyer’s guide for executives: build versus buy, what to pilot first, and the questions that make vendors nervous. No product pitches, including ours.

After we ship

we answer the phone

We stay until it sticks.

After the event, the organizer gets a page on our site made for your room: the deck, every prompt we showed, and a one-page note of next steps drawn from what the audience asked, all at one link your whole company can visit. For two weeks, your team can email the speaker directly and get real answers, not an autoresponder. And when the talk sparks a training request or a build, we scope it honestly, even when the honest answer is that you don’t need us yet.

Most AI talks are a deck about the future. Ours are about the work sitting in front of you. We build with these tools every week, so the talk runs on working examples instead of predictions: what AI is genuinely good at right now, where it faceplants, and what that means for the people in your seats. No hype curve, no doom slide, no vendor gospel. Just the state of the work, from someone doing the work.

Every booking starts with a prep call, because the room is the brief. Who’s in it, what they already believe, and what the event is supposed to move: we ask first, then write. The examples come from your industry, the demos look like your workflows, and the Q&A gets protected time because that’s where the real questions live. If a talk could be forwarded to another company unchanged, we consider it unfinished.

The demos are recorded from real builds and cut into the talk, because a mainstage is no place to gamble on conference Wi-Fi. The room still watches real systems do real work, step by step, faster than any bullet list could argue it. And one stance runs through every talk we give: AI makes good teams better. Nobody in your audience gets cast as the cost to be cut.

We measure a talk by what happens after it. Leadership using the same vocabulary. A pilot finally green-lit. A skeptic asking when the workshop is. The deck, the prompts, and the next-steps note go home with the organizer, and the speaker stays reachable for two weeks of follow-ups. A good keynote isn’t a break from the work. It’s how the work starts.

FAQ

asked at the counter

Asked often. Answered straight.

How much does it cost to book an AI keynote speaker?

Talks are a fixed fee that depends on length, format, and travel. You get the number on the first call, and it doesn’t change afterward.

Do you customize the talk for our industry?

Every time. A prep call comes with every booking: we learn the audience, the stakes, and what the event needs to move, then rebuild the examples around your world. Nobody gets a stock deck.

Can the talk include live demos?

Demos yes, live builds no. Real systems get shown as recorded walkthroughs cut into the talk, so the proof never depends on venue Wi-Fi. Nothing on stage is left to luck.

Do you do virtual keynotes?

Yes. In person lands hardest on a mainstage. Remote works well for all-hands and distributed teams, and we’re based in Chicago, traveling wherever your event is.

Can we record the talk and share it internally?

Record it, post it on the intranet, clip it for internal comms: yes to all three. Public distribution is a separate conversation, and usually a short one.

What do you need from us to host a talk?

A prep call, a real picture of who’s in the room, a screen, and a microphone. We show up early for the sound check.

Is the talk a sales pitch for your consulting?

No. The talk is the product, and it stands on its own. What we do comes up in one slide at most, because someone always asks.

How technical are your AI talks?

As technical as the room. We calibrate on the prep call: executive audiences get strategy and proof on screen, builder audiences get the how. Nobody sits through acronyms they didn’t order.

In their words

I've booked speakers for six years of leadership summits, and rarely do you hit a gem like Dex. He was funny, personable and kept the room engaged. Weeks later my team still references it, and the resource page circulated through a ton of teams who are finding major daily wins because of it.
